Matilda Jenkins couldn't care about anything else. She immediately jumped out of bed, barefoot, without putting on any clothes, and ran out.
There was no one outside. Matilda felt cold from head to toe. She called out Nolan Morrison's name, but no one responded.
Matilda trembled all over. He left, did he... really leave?
Matilda shook her head, no, he said he wouldn't leave again. He said he would take her with him.
Matilda shivered as she tried to grab her mobile phone to call Nolan Morrison, but her hand seemed no longer her own, as her stiff fingers couldn't bend.
Suddenly, there was a sound at the door. Matilda dropped the phone and ran out.
Nolan Morrison had just opened the door when everything went dark as someone flung themselves into his arms. Instinctively, he reached out and held her tightly.
It was only then he realized, the person in his arms wasn't wearing any clothes.
