"I don't know him," Nolan Morrison answered very coldly.
Nathan Cole couldn't tell whether he was telling the truth or lying, so he asked, "Then... did you know her... boyfriend before?"
Nolan Morrison asked, "Who is her boyfriend?"
"Nathaniel York."
"I don't know him, why are you asking this?" Nolan Morrison answered calmly, showing no signs of lying at all.
Nathan Cole sighed, "It's nothing, if you really like Matilda Jenkins, treat her well, she's a good young lady. If you don't like her, don't waste her time. You don't like her, but someone else does, like me."
"Since you like her so much, why haven't you pursued her?"
"Do you think I haven't thought about it? I just..."
Nathan Cole had definitely thought about it. At first, he just felt sorry for Matilda Jenkins, thinking this young lady was really going through a tough time. Plus, she was from the same Company and a neighbor, and Scarlett Glenn specifically reminded him to take care of her.
