Morgan Glenn's eyes widened bit by bit, watching as Scarlett Glenn tilted her head back and drank the water in the cup in one gulp. Her movements were exceptionally quick, so quick that Morgan Glenn wanted to reach out and stop her but was already too late.
Morgan Glenn shouted loudly, "Scarlett Glenn..."
Scarlett Glenn let go of the cup, and with a loud bang, it fell to the ground, shattering instantly into countless pieces, kicking up a cloud of dust.
The water in the cup had no particularly distinct taste; Scarlett Glenn had only one sensation—cold.
