Mary Douglas's face turned colder by several degrees, "I think if you died, your wife would surely carry on and live strongly with your son."
"Old Ryan! Is this the woman you're looking for?"
As Mary's words fell, a rough voice sounded from not far away.
The crowd looked over and saw Quinn Martinez stumbling over, her hands held behind her by a tall and sturdy man, her pale face covered in tear marks.
Beau Reed's eyebrows furrowed closer together.
He looked at the tall, strong man holding a gun, pressing it against Quinn's temple.
"Brother Maxwell! What are you doing here!?"
"Don't waste words! Brothers for life, I'm no backstabbing coward letting you fend for yourself."
Ryan King looked excitedly at the man, "Brother Maxwell, you really didn't need to..."
Brother Maxwell, as he was called, was too lazy to indulge Ryan, glaring at Beau and the others harshly:
"Get out of the way! Or don't blame me if this gun goes off accidentally!"
