Joel Russo's expression darkened slightly, "Who else has said such a thing to you?"
Arabella Vanderbilt froze, feeling she had stepped on the man's minefield, shook her head firmly without any hesitation and said:
"No one!"
Joel Russo's expression did not improve, and he leaned down to bite her nose hard.
Arabella Vanderbilt exclaimed softly, "Stop biting my nose all the time, my nose will be chewed off by you!"
Unable to hold back, Joel's lips curved into a smile, and he reached out to lift her chin as he leaned down to kiss her lips, but she beat him to it.
Specifically, she nibbled at him, and even more specifically, it was purely a retaliatory act, as she opened her mouth and bit his thin lower lip.
Then she slowly lowered her heels, only to have her waist tightened as the man held her in place.
"Bite me and want to run?"
"Didn't you just bite me earlier?"
"I just kissed you earlier too, but why didn't you return the kiss?"
