"Do you think she doesn't know what's good for her?"
Sara Lang paused with a worried expression, "What do you mean?"
Malcom Owens took a deep breath and said softly:
"President Vanderbilt is a smart person; I'm sure she knows better than anyone else what's good for her. Every word she says, every action she takes, I think... has its reason. The reason she said that just now might be because, in her heart, she has already considered it carefully."
Sara Lang looked surprised as her gaze settled on the slender back of Arabella Vanderbilt.
Involuntarily, admiration and longing for Arabella Vanderbilt rose within her heart.
Suddenly, she felt that this person was truly unattainable, clearly standing there brightly, yet mysteriously inscrutable.
She withdrew her gaze and looked up at Malcom Owens, who was much taller than her, blinking her eyes, and asked expectantly:
"What exactly is on her mind?"
