It sounds surprisingly reasonable.
"Don't change the subject on me!"
Arabella Vanderbilt held her ground, "I did it anyway! Got hurt, bled!"
Great, a woman using her privilege to be unreasonable is truly an art.
Joel Russo's eyebrows furrowed tightly, "Are you just giving up and going down with the ship?"
Arabella said nothing, her expression showing she was not conceding.
Joel gritted his teeth, reached out to push Arabella's arm away, "You're something, you really are. I can't handle you, let go of me."
"…"
Arabella held on even tighter.
After several pushes and shoves, Joel ultimately couldn't shake Arabella off.
Joel took a deep breath, pressed his brows, then looked at Arabella, his dark eyes full of stern warning.
"If you do such a thing again, I won't go easy on you."
"It depends, we'll see. I can't give you a definite answer now," Arabella said truthfully, thinking agreeing now would make the consequences even more severe if it happened again next time.
