"You're so pretentious!"
Joel Russo didn't even lift his head, replying indifferently.
Arabella Vanderbilt puffed her cheek slightly, "I'm telling the truth, though."
She said this while picking up a piece of food and putting it in her mouth. "Hmm, it tastes really good."
Only then did Joel Russo raise his head, looking at her seriously.
"Really?"
Arabella nodded. "Yes, really. Try it."
With that, she picked up a piece of food for Joel Russo and offered it to his lips.
Joel Russo glanced at it and opened his mouth.
Though it wasn't anything extraordinary, the taste was indeed decent.
To be fair, it wasn't a rare delicacy—just a plate of greens. What magical flavor could it possibly have?
He nodded in satisfaction.
Perhaps lunch really suited Arabella's taste, or perhaps she'd truly exerted too much energy earlier, as Arabella quickly finished an entire bowl.
For the first time displaying her appetite, Arabella felt a bit embarrassed.
