Xander Harl was shocked, "Chief Lindsey, do you mean that the car that took Sophie Foster in drove out immediately, taking someone with it?"
"Yes." Isabella Lindsey nodded, "And Sophie Foster was in the car too."
"Besides her... who else?"
Xander felt his IQ had let him down. He had been watching outside all day, and never thought that the car which just went in would immediately come out with his primary surveillance target...
"The villa's master, Mrs. Sa," said Isabella Lindsey with an unusual cool sharpness.
"Oh... so that's how it is!"
Xander seemed to understand, slapped his thigh, and said, "Ah! It's my fault for being careless and stupid! I actually let them slip away in such an open and aboveboard way!"
"You can't be entirely blamed for it."
Julian Johnsons, surveying the whole situation, said grandly, "The villa's master probably discovered you a long time ago and designed this perfect escape."
"That woman called Mrs. Sa... is actually that formidable..."
