"She's changing clothes upstairs, she'll be down soon." Dilbert Walker escorted them to the living room.
Ella Lacey whispered, "Was Edbert brought back from A City?"
"Yes."
Dilbert nodded heavily, "Sigh, after all these years, I've raised an ingrate."
"Uncle Walker, why do you say that?" Ella stopped in her tracks.
"He's already found out that we're not his biological parents." Dilbert laughed awkwardly.
"What?"
Ella was shocked, "Did you tell him? We all kept the secret, didn't we?"
Cherline Lindsey, who was listening on the side, did not show much change in her expression.
It seemed she knew a bit about Edbert's situation as well.
"No."
Dilbert shook his head, "He somehow found out on his own. The night he came back, he argued with me for a long time, and accidentally revealed that he's not my child."
"That's a bit strange..."
Ella frowned, "Does he know who his biological parents are?"
"He probably doesn't know."
