Ella Lacey seemed unwilling to elaborate. "And your father has already told me about the car accident as narrated by Yolanda."
"So you have no objections?" Cherline Lindsey asked, gazing intensely.
"... No." Ella Lacey's voice weakened.
She somewhat understood that her daughter seemed not to trust what Yolanda said.
But she really didn't want to mention details that might damage her relationship with Yolanda, even to her biological daughter.
