In the evening, everyone had dispersed, and Gale Summer, tired from the whole day, took Denver upstairs to rest, while Ricky Lewis directed people to clean up the messy hall below.
Just then, the butler entered carrying a box.
"Son-in-law, this has just been delivered by international express. It seems to be from the United Kingdom and is marked for Miss to personally receive."
Ricky Lewis took the box and looked at it, saying indifferently, "I know, it's probably sent by Second Young Master Thompson and his wife. I'll pass it on to Gale Summer later."
"Very well," the butler, reassured, turned and left, busying himself with other matters.
Ricky Lewis carried the box upstairs but did not go directly to Gale Summer's room. Instead, he went to the study, found a pair of scissors, and cut open the packaging paper.
