Evone Thompson couldn't continue to chat about Ricky Lewis with Gale Summer any longer. She grabbed Gale's hand and headed downstairs, muttering, "Look at you, look at you, I told you to get up earlier, but you didn't believe me and kept lingering in bed, now I guess you probably won't even have time for breakfast, huh?"
"If I can't have breakfast, then so be it. It's not like I've never skipped breakfast before," Gale casually responded, "During school and work, there were times I overslept, worried about being late, and didn't eat breakfast, right?"
"Is it the same now as when you were going to school or work?" Evone Thompson scolded her immediately, "You are now carrying two lives, double the responsibility, you get that?"
"...." Gale suddenly remembered that she was pregnant. Alright, in her haste, she really had forgotten about the little one inside her belly.
