Gale Summer caught a bad cold, never expecting she would fall ill just from getting caught in the rain; not only that, she was now so dizzy and headachy that she couldn't get out of bed.
She had always been healthy, hardly ever catching fevers or colds, so she didn't take it seriously that morning, thinking resting at home and drinking more hot water would do the trick.
She wrapped herself in her quilt and slept the whole day at home, but her cold didn't get any better—in fact, it got even worse. When spicy soup made a phone call to her the next day, she could barely get out of bed.
"Gale, what's wrong with you?" Spicy soup could tell something was off with Gale, even her voice sounded hoarse.
"It's nothing, just a cold. I'm dizzy, my head hurts, my whole body is weak and I don't feel like getting up..." Gale honestly described her condition.
