Five minutes later, the taxi stopped at the doorway of the uptown café, and just as Felicity Lambert got out of the taxi, Aunt Polly's phone call came through.
She naturally took the call, and Aunt Polly reminded her on the phone to be patient for the noon meeting at 12 p.m., as that person was also very busy. She advised Felicity not to leave before the time had come.
Humming along on the phone, Felicity thought to herself that she would not wait even a minute past the exact 12 p.m., no matter how big a deal that person could be. Was she supposed to be patient when she never had any patience to begin with?
Five minutes passed, and Felicity checked her watch, 11:59. One minute to go, yet at this moment, not a single young person had entered the door.
Just one minute, she stared at her watch, thinking to herself that this man was really not enthusiastic about the blind date, even arriving later than her, the woman.
