Xaviar rang the doorbell but failed to open Anna Ainsworth's door; instead, he inadvertently rang the neighboring doorbell.
A man next door came out and, upon seeing Xaviar, indifferently said, "Stop ringing the doorbell. The family left early this morning and were even carrying suitcases."
"They left? Where did they go?" Xaviar anxiously inquired.
"I'm not sure exactly where they went, but I overheard that young boy asking his sister. It sounded like something about returning to their hometown by train or car."
"Oh, okay, thank you, uncle!" Xaviar replied, holding a KFC egg tart. He then sprinted towards the elevator as if he were flying.
Upon leaving Elegant Garden, Xaviar hailed a taxi and headed straight for the train station, remembering Anna had told him once that their hometown was in a place called Wander River, a seven-to-eight-hour train ride away.
