On either side of the stone gate, there stood a guard.
It was a secret passage through the mountain, wide enough for a carriage to pass. As they walked further inside, light stones embedded every few feet in the stone walls illuminated the way.
The tunnel was quite bright.
Judging by the excavation work, this tunnel seemed to have been completed in recent years.
After walking a bit further, they exited the mountain cave. Based on the length of the tunnel, it appeared the mountain body wasn't particularly thick but flat, saving a lot of labor.
"Without permission, this old servant cannot leave Poison King Valley, so I can only escort you this far," the old servant said at the cave entrance, bowing to Su Qingyue.
"Thank you for your escort. Please return." Su Qingyue responded politely.
