He emits powerful magical energy all over his gigantic body.
Instinctively, my body feels threatened, so I move fast in an attempt to strike first. But just as I do, I suddenly sense his bloodlust spreading across the room like poison in the air.
Then, in the blink of an eye, that massive body—made almost entirely of fat—moves with unnatural speed, rushing straight toward me.
I try to dodge with a sidestep—
But I was fooled. He tricked me.
And just like that, he was already at my blind spot, landing a devastating blow. I couldn't even react to his speed.
I was sent flying to the other side of the room, crashing into a hard limestone wall strong enough to nearly bury me.
He cracked one of the chamber's massive pillars and swung it at me like a gigantic log.
Blow after blow, walls shattered. The ground shook. The room vibrated with every impact.
All I could do was run, block, and hope for a small opening to counterattack.
He moved so fast despite his size. This wasn't just brute force—
It was tactical.
And I needed more than strength. I needed perfect timing. Strategy.
But I couldn't even make a plan.
He was overwhelmingly powerful.
He's not what he looks like—
He's worse.
And when I look into his glowing yellow eyes, all I see is a monster…
A monster toying with his prey before ripping it apart.
He hasn't even activated his Animal Spirit—and he's still overpowering me.
But…
I still have one last option.
As he strikes me again, I'm thrown back. Sure, it hurts, but it gives me a few seconds of distance—
A moment I can use.
In that split second, I activate my Animal Spirit.
Now we're on equal ground.
Before he can reach me again, I launch a powerful blow—
An explosive void blast that rips through the air and shatters the debris scattered around us.
He's pushed all the way to the other side of the chamber, slamming through walls and stone.
Everything crumbles around him.
That should've stunned him.
Anyone else would've been destroyed.
But not him.
He rises—completely unscratched.
And for the first time during this entire fight—
He speaks again.
"Now we're talking…"
He smiles. Unbothered.
Without hesitation, he lunges again—
Faster than before.
Stronger than before.
But I'm different now too.
Every punch—blocked.
Every kick—deflected.
Now we're truly equals.
But not for long.
My stamina is running low.
I can maintain my Spirit Dive for a while… but not forever.
Not against him.
I try sneaking in energy blasts—
Explosive voids—
One after another—
But none of them scratch him.
I'm trying to analyze his ability. Find his weakness.
Then—
He stops.
For a brief moment, he freezes.
An opening.
With everything I've got—
I punch him straight in the face, smashing his bloated cheeks into the ground as the whole chamber trembles.
I step back to assess.
Was that the first real damage I dealt?
But I was wrong.
He speaks again—
Calm. Mocking.
"It took me a while to charge. Your blows are too weak…"
He stands.
"What do you mean?" I ask, more for time than curiosity.
He chuckles, tearing the last of his ruined clothes from his body as he walks.
"You know… every time I get hit, the kinetic energy turns into magical mana. It's absorbed into my body and recharges me to full."
He pauses—
Then grins.
"Of course, the stronger the hit… the stronger the energy I gain."
He gazes at me with pure contempt.
"My Animal Spirit is a Pig. I devour everything thrown at me. And guess what—"
His voice drops.
"—I just keep getting stronger."
Then…
He activates his Animal Spirit Dive.
His body morphs into a towering humanoid boar—massive tusks, pig-like nose, primal rage glowing from his eyes.
And now…
He's even more powerful than before.
I can feel his aura flooding the entire room—
Like drowning in thick, suffocating air.
"Shit…" I mumble.
"Looks like I messed up."
He summoned a gigantic hammer, swinging it powerfully and smashing it to the ground—crashing through the entire chamber with a wide attack so devastating, even my shadow couldn't escape.
I barely dodged it. As I jumped, he swung again—this time faster. In mid-air, I couldn't sidestep.
So instead, I empowered my mana shield around my body in an attempt to protect myself, but the attack was so powerful I couldn't avoid taking damage.
I couldn't help it—I needed to strike back. So in response, I rained down a barrage of explosive voids, stronger and faster than before.
"Rain Voids!" I shouted.
But again… I was foolish. I'd nearly forgotten what he just said.
As soon as the attacks hit him, he absorbed them—like they were part of him all along.
He smiled, then raised his palm and gathered magical mana into a glowing energy ball.
He fired it toward me.
With all my speed, I tried to escape, but the explosion was so massive I couldn't avoid being hit. I took heavy damage.
He smirked.
"You have no chance of winning, kid."
In the cloud of dust, I dashed forward—so fast he couldn't dodge. I punched his fatty cheek, slamming him into the wall. His whole body hit like a bulldozer.
He tried to strike back with his hammer, but I used my smaller size to my advantage, running in close and following up with another Explosive Void—right above his head.
Surprisingly, he leapt upward toward me, catching the attack head-on.
Then, with his gigantic fist, he landed a surprise punch to my side. I had to take the hit just to launch another Explosive Void into his face.
I crashed to the ground—nearly buried by debris. As I pulled myself from the pile of crushed pillars and broken walls, he just stood there… watching.
Then he spoke.
"You know, Roderick won't be happy when I tell him I killed all the children. But who cares? They're already dead anyway. They're part of my belly now."
I froze.
Did he just say he ate those kids?
I couldn't help but feel disgusted… and furious.
Struggling to stand, I asked,
"What do you mean?"
"Yes," he said with a grin. "All those kids were just meals. After all, we already got what we wanted. Roderick got the attention he craved, and I got to eat some royal blood. It's a win-win."
"What the fuck did you just say?!" I shouted.
"You see, Roderick Grimwood and I are just business partners. I don't care what happens to his precious Vikings. His team? They just follow him blindly. Me? I only care about food. After all, all Roderick wanted was to kidnap that girl. And when he was done with her… he just tossed her to me like garbage.
But I knew who she was. So I spared her—for a while. I figured someone might come to rescue her."
He grinned wider.
"And I was right. Look who showed up."
"You piece of shit… Who is Roderick?" I asked, just to buy time and gather mana.
"Didn't I just say?" he chuckled. "He's the leader of the Vikings. He showed up one day with 15 children, told me I could do whatever I wanted with them. So of course, I ate them.
Now and then, he drops by and brings me more kids. Honestly, I expected him to come today with more food. But instead, you came."
"Where is he now?"
He shrugged.
"I don't know. Probably hiding somewhere. Now that your team is down here in my chamber, he's likely out there with his Vikings.
Even if you find him… with your current strength, you wouldn't stand a chance.
Roderick Grimwood is more powerful than me."
He continued speaking.
"I think it's very visible now that my animal spirit is a pig—not a boar. People always mistake it. But anyway, Roderick is on a whole other level. Trust me, you won't last long against him. So I say… just be my—you know—food. You'll make great protein for my diet. You know that, right?"
At this point, I couldn't think anything about him but disgust.
I want to kill him.
He's a menace.
An inhuman criminal who needs to be eliminated from society.
No mercy for this devil.
I will fucking kill this piece of shit.
I glared straight into his soul, sending him a warning that I would bring him hell.
"You said Roderick wanted attention. Why?" I asked.
"Well…" he said casually, "Roderick seems to be having problems with his life. Wants to end it. Guess he's tired of living. But for some reason, he wants to die at the hands of Imperial pawns—like you. I said I could eat him, but he refused. Honestly, I was disappointed."
Turns out I can extract quite a bit of information from this fat pig.
Fine. I'll take my time.
I asked another question.
"The 15 children he brought you the first time… was he the one backing up Premo the day he attacked our school?"
"I'm not an idiot," he said.
His voice suddenly shifted—colder, more serious.
"You think I'll just spill information whenever you ask?"
Tsk… this glutton…
Then suddenly, he started growing bigger again.
"What the fuck is going on?" I mumbled.
"You think I don't know you're stalling to gather mana?"
He stood tall, his body expanding more and more grotesquely.
"I kept talking, yeah. But only because I needed time too.
But guess what, kid… time's up.
I'm done playing…
It's dinner time."
Fueled by rage, I attacked him, blasting nonstop.
But now—
It was useless.
Not even a scratch.
Nothing I did could damage him.
He was now twice the size he was when he morphed into that grotesque monster.
His mana level had skyrocketed.
I could no longer see a path to victory.
Helpless, I threw a punch straight into his stomach.
Nothing happened.
"Fuck this," I whispered.
Then he struck back.
I sidestepped the first attack, but he swung again with his hammer.
I blocked it with my arm.
But he followed up with a massive punch that launched me across the chamber, slamming me into solid rock.
I was losing consciousness.
Before I could even stand, he dashed forward and delivered a powerful kick, burying me deep into the ground.
I could barely cover myself with my hands, reinforced by mana.
But he didn't stop there.
With his giant hammer, he smashed me again and again, pounding me into the ground like a nail.
The whole chamber crumbled.
Shockwaves tore through the stone.
Dust filled the air.
He didn't stop—not until I could barely lift my body.
He finally paused.
"Oy? You still alive?"
He picked me up like a lifeless cockroach…
Then slammed me to the ground like a broken toy.
"So this is how it ends, my boi."
He dropped the hammer and sat down.
"Finally… eating time."
He picked me up again, stared at me like a lifeless mouse—
Then opened his gigantic mouth, tusks gleaming, ready to swallow me whole.
But no.
I'm not dying here.
I will not die in the hands of this fucking monster.
Desperate, with only seconds left, I gathered my last bit of mana—
And blasted him directly in the face.
"FUCK YOU!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
My eyes glowed as my mana ran dry.
The blast hit him right in the eyes, forcing him to recoil and throw me again.
And then…
Mysteriously…
My power suddenly surged.
I felt… an unlimited reserve of mana awaken within me.
"What the hell is going on?" I whispered.
My spiritual energy was rising.
I felt like I was being recharged from the inside out.
My body started to glow—like a radiant star.
Borris, angry, lunged at me with his massive hammer—
But this time, I blocked it.
Single-handedly.
"I don't know what's happening…" I said, staring him down,
"…but I can feel it."
"I'm gonna FUCK YOU UP."
