Now, we have to head for the dungeon raid." His voice carried an air of wisdom and experience, attempting to diffuse the situation. The bulky man, Nick, grunted in response, his anger apparently quelled.
"You have a good day, kid," he remarked before adding with a hint of menace, "Otherwise, I might just smack that ugly face of yours."
"Thank you so much, sir," Alex replied with forced gratitude, his inner turmoil hidden beneath a veneer of politeness. As Nick and his group walked away, Alex couldn't help but clench his fists, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.
He understood that in this world, where strength was revered above all else, confrontation without power was futile and dangerous. "Stay calm, Alex," he reminded himself silently.
He knew that he had to wait patiently, to bide his time until he could acquire the power he needed to achieve his goals. Revenge and justice were not attainable without strength, and that was a lesson he had learned the hard way in his previous life.
Turning his attention back to the bustling Hunter Association, Alex realized that his journey was just beginning.
