Half a year had passed when Nayla and Richard broke up. It was winter, and Nayla wanted to surprise him in advance since he was not available on his birthday because he'd be working late. She snuck into his apartment and prepared for the surprise, she brought food and cake, and she was also wearing lingerie underneath her coat since she was preparing for their first night together.
"I can't believe women are wearing something like this, and it's so cold."
She texted Richard,
"Babe, I know you're drinking with your colleagues, but don't drink too much, it's bad for your health. Come home early, I left something for you."
Their conversation through chat is so cold like Mount Everest. You'll see that she's the only one who cares for him and has mostly seen her messages.
While waiting for him for hours, she hides as she hears the beeping sound of the door, but it seems like he's not alone.
She's about to surprise him, but she hears a woman giggling, and she hides again, in shock, which makes her shiver down her spine.
"Ohh Baby, you're getting naughty, I said don't touch me there."
An Unknown Woman said while teasing Richard.
"Come on, I know you like it when I touch you like this."
They started kissing and getting more heated.
Tears suddenly poured down her face as she realized that all her speculations and instincts had come true.
'I already know something is wrong, but I refused to follow my instinct because I know you can't do that to me, after all I've done for you and what I've been through, you know all of it.'
'But I still can't believe that you did me dirty.'
While Nayla is hiding and sobbing, Richard, with his wench, is about to move on to his bedroom, but the wench notices something.
"Aww.. How sweet, look, honey, your girlfriend brought you a cake."
"Oh, that, I'm just gonna throw it later after you give me your present."
The wench teases him by showing her cleavage.
"I like that present."
They continue kissing and move to his bedroom as they continue the "deed".
When the coast was clear, Nayla took the supposed gift and hurriedly left his apartment.
She can't stop crying on her way home, and people are looking at her as she's walking and sobbing so hard.
On the day of the confrontation, she messaged Richard to meet her at the cafe, she's the first one to arrive there, and while waiting for him, she's thinking about how she'll confront him.
'I still can't forget what happened that night. It feels like I'm trapped in that scenario, thinking What did I do to deserve this? When did it go wrong? It's my fault, isn't it?'
He arrived 45 minutes late.
"Oh, you're still here? I thought you already left."
He sat down arrogantly and stared at her with no affection at all, like he was getting bored, even though he was the one who arrived late.
"Order me my usual, I'm so thirsty."
Richard said while getting annoyed.
"I didn't message you for days, and yet you don't even ask how I am?"
"Ahh.. You're so demanding. Don't you understand that I'm busy too? Should I only focus on you and not work? Is that what you want?"
Nayla is biting her lips and fidgeting as she doesn't know how to respond to what he said.
"If you'll just act like delusional, I'm gonna g-"
"I know you're cheating on me."
They went silent for a moment.
"So?"
Richard said without any care, while Nayla was stunned by his reaction.
"You think I'll stay loyal to you when you didn't even give me what I want?"
"Do you think I'm a eunuch?!"
Nayla replies as she gets angry at what he said,
"In my mind, you're an illusion that I thought was good, forcing my mind that your action is reasonable, that is enough to make me stay and tolerate, but as I expected, I was wrong."
People from the cafe turn their focus on them as they gather their attention from their argument.
"I can't wait for you for too long, I have my needs too. Men are naturally polygamous, so it's not my fault; it just came out naturally."
"I don't deserve this kind of treatment, after all I've done for you, what I've been through, you know it all, but you still hurt me like this."
"You know what? You're so delusional, obsessed, needy, and crazy. Be thankful that I'm still your boyfriend."
Nayla can't help but laugh while crying from all the frustrations and pain.
'I can't believe that I met this kind of man.'
She stands up and slaps him in the face.
"Thank you, but we're done. I'm breaking up with you."
Nayla immediately walks out of the cafe, leaving Richard stunned from the slaps that he couldn't react to.
After they parted ways, Richard kept spreading rumors that it was Nayla's fault they broke up, that she was crazy and too obsessed with him. Richard is also the reason why Nayla's acquaintance never contacts her again.
