What Lanta had just shared with her seemed to be absurd. It was not a thing she had heard of. "Can a human be turned into a demon really?"
"Why not? Is anything truly impossible in the worlds? You were human, then you were turned into a grim reaper and now rumor has it that you are a mythical kopuko." Lanta looked at Scarlet closely.
It was almost as if she was searching for horns, feathers, or something that exposed Scarlet for who she was.
"How can you use the word mythical to describe me as if I am the most unnatural thing in our world? We have demons that eat babies, those that swallow worlds, monsters with one eye, reapers with eyes on their wings and....."
She clammed up after mentioning that because those were Esong's wings.
Lanta didn't notice the unease Scarlet was experiencing and she said, "You are the thing they use to get little children in our world to behave. Although, i don't think it's going to work on your own children since you are their mother."
