While Star was traveling through the Timelines in hopes of finding something within himself, Radna offered to teach Aiden how to use his abilities with the knowledge he had obtained.
Aiden: He looked around as they stood on top of a large black stone mountain on Availion, and a raging storm sat perfectly above them. He watched the rain fall off his body as he looked over at Radna, "So why exactly are we up here!?"
Radna: He felt the floor, making sure they were in the right place, "Back where I came from, there was a version of you that could not just manipulate the storm within, but the storm outside as well!"
Aiden: "What are you saying!?"
Radna: He looked up at the raging clouds, then at him, smirking, "I'm saying deep within your body, is the ability to control disaster forces!"
Aiden: He blinked, "Are you saying, hypothetically, I could control not just thunderstorms!?"
Radna: He pointed past the cloud above them, "Blackholes, volcanoes, to an extent even Timeline Closing! But it is not just based on power, but also on intelligence! One's mind is their strongest tool."
Aiden: He walked up to him, looking around as Radna was checking the surrounding environment, "You are so cool. Hey, Uncle Radna?"
Radna: "What's up, buddy?"
Aiden: "Where did you learn never to be afraid? Aren't you ever scared of like, losing?"
Radna: He sat up, turning around to face him, "What gave you the idea that I don't get scared?
Aiden: "You are always so confident and collected, I just don't understand how you do it."
Radna: "I'm scared every day, kiddo."
Aiden: He raised an eyebrow, "You are?"
Radna: "Yeah, I get scared that I might mess up, that I might use too much strength and get someone hurt. Scared that I won't be enough, scared that people are afraid of me."
Aiden: "Why don't you express all of those emotions then? If you are scared of those things, why do you act so calm?"
Radna: "When you think of how other things will go, when you allow fear to run your mind, do you focus on what's going on around you or the fear inside?"
Aiden: He looked off to the side, thinking about his question. "Well, you would mostly think about the fear, which causes panic attacks and such."
Radna: "When you think of fear, you think of your mistakes that you could make, you'll get caught up in it, you'll freeze, that hesitation is what gets people hurt. I don't fuel myself with confidence, I fuel myself with my will and my faith, faith that I will protect the ones I care about." He got down on one knee, placing his hand on Aiden's shoulder, "The heart of man allows fear to envelope them, but the heart of the courageous is already too full of strength to allow the fear anywhere near. Break free from fear, Aiden, become true to your will."
Aiden: "I suppose that makes sense...thanks Radna, I needed to hear that." His calm mood suddenly changed the storm above them, the rain softened, and the lightning calmed itself.
Radna: He let out a prideful laugh, gently hitting Aiden on the shoulder, "See, look at that!"
Aiden: "Wait, wait, that's me?!" The thunder became stronger as he became surprised.
Radna: "If we train you to be able to manipulate your emotional state and harness the power of lightning, you can do wonders! Cmon, kiddo, we got a lot to work on, let's start with a little power I like to call 'Celestial Oblivion Surge'."
