Kol POV
It's been about six months since we've been here and I've gotten bored. Well, there's still Lisa but we're nothing more than sex friends.
Though I've been getting better at handling my bloodlust, I just feed, heal then erase. A monotonous and repetitive process but it helps in curbing my baser vampire instincts.
The kicker to everything that has been going on is that Lisa has discovered what my family and I are. She thinks I don't know she has found out, but I do.
I didn't compel her to forget and simply allowed her to process what we are, while I have noticed that she is slightly afraid but she is more intrigued and hasn't tried to tell anyone what we are.
I know this because I compelled her guards to spy on her and monitor her behavior and what I have gathered is that Lisa de Casel is a woman who desires to be independent and free both in her desires to break off her near engagement and escape her controlling uncle.
It also helps that she disdains Aurora and Tristan for their psychotic tendencies.
On another note, time here has been going somewhat great, I've gotten used to being a vampire same for the rest of my siblings.
Klaus has entered a forbidden romance with Aurora much to the dismay of Lucien while Elijah enjoys feigning nobility and etiquette with the count and Tristan, though Elijah has a fake friendship with Tristan since he already knows his sociopathic tendencies.
Not that I am to judge but even I have some limits, the way Tristan treats Lucien and some of the servants is really abominable.
Apart from Lisa I have had my fair share of fun with the noble ladies in the castle, I didn't compel to sleep with me, there's no fun in that, it's just most women in these times are easier to please and easier to get into their breaches.
"Kol, can we talk. I need your help" Lisa's voice sounded from the door.
"Come in" I responded
As she entered, she gazed at the two women in bed and raised her eyebrow questioningly.
I woke up the two ladies who were embarrassed and were covering up their modesty.
"Ladies, I need to have a private conversation with my friend, Lady Lisa so give us the room" I said to the two beauties to which they blushed and ran out of the room.
"I swear one of these days you are going to get attacked by the noble lords of the castle" Lisa says as she sighs tiredly.
"That isn't going to happen and even if it did you well know the outcome lovely Lisa"
Her gaze suddenly becomes sharp and she begins to talk
"I know you already know that I have seen what you and your family are" She stops and looks deeply at me to which I smirk and motion for her to carry on.
"What you might not know is that Tristan and Aurora also know now due to your brother Nikalus' slip ups, what's more shocking is what I'm about to tell you"
"I can rarely be surprised, if Tristan is still alive that means he must threatened Nik and Elijah with the knowledge to expose our location from what we are running from. Quite clever of his devious mind" I smirk.
Yes, one of my compelled minions told me what happened when Tristan was lashing poor Lucien yesterday.
I have to say despite being a psychopath, Tristan is quite clever. He guessed that we were running away from something that scared us and already made preparations in case we threatened him.
Nik and Elijah were caught off guard yesterday and had no choice but to let Lucien be tortured, I was going to compel Tristan today but let's see what Lisa has to say.
"I see so you know the events that transpired yesterday but what you don't know is what happened after those events." Lisa replied.
I raised my eyebrow questioningly, I wasn't too interested in the affairs of Lucien or Tristan, although Lucien's situation is bad, it has nothing to do with me rather it his unhealthy fascination with Aurora that causes Tristan to target him specifically.
"Lucien died yesterday, before you interrupt me, I know you don't care much about him but the point is after he died, I saw him come back to life and become what you and your family are" she finished to which I sat up seriously.
I didn't expect that, none of my siblings know of our other abilities, either Klaus or Elijah's blood must have got into Lucien's wounds and when he died, he became the first turned vampire by our family.
Seriously, that kid has some extreme luck on his side.
"That is quite a surprise, my Lady but that begs the question of what you want by telling me this. I've come to see you as a friend. Although there is no romance between us but I can help you with what you have on your mind, as long as it isn't detrimental to my family and I"
It's true that Lisa has been something of a friend and I'm planning on her helping me to expand my influence in this region after we leave of course because I think it's only a matter of time till daddy dearest finds us.
"I want to become what you and your family are, like Lucien" she said with a steel and determined gaze which slightly surprised me.
"I know that you don't want to marry Lord Wilmont but you have seen the manner of beasts my family is, you should think this thr.."'
"I have already made up my mind!" she interrupts me.
"Yesterday morning that bastard Lord Wilmont raped my childhood friend and maid Gertrude just because I said I didn't want to marry him. I can't have any revenge on him without raising the ire of uncle. I realized my powerlessness, even if I escape my marriage I will be in control of my uncle and stuck like this for the rest of my life. If becoming a beast gives me a modicum of freedom, then beast I shall be."
I looked at her seriously, I have met Gertrude and I could see that both Lisa and Gertrude are in a secret relationship, since lesbianism is frowned upon in this era. It's no shocker that she would be royally pissed at Wilmont for raping her lover.
Plus, I underestimated her desire for freedom and power that women currently don't have in this era.
"I understand but what do I get in return. Although we are friends, I am literally giving you the gift of immortality demerits or not. How do you even know that in me turning you, you won't go from cage to another?" I asked her curiously.
"I have nothing that you would want other than my eternal gratitude and I have been with you for some time now and while you don't value others excluding your family, you still have a limit that you do not cross and other things that you are more interested in which are not here"
I gazed at her and just sighed.
"I understand, it's not really a big deal for me to turn you but you will owe me some favors in the future of our eternal life and I'm also going to turn Gertrude if she agrees because I know that's what you also want"
"Thank you so much Kol, I will never forget this grace you've given me" she said as she bowed deeply.
I just shrugged, "It's not a big deal"
Before she could react, I sped behind her biting my wrist and force feeding her my blood.
Without paying attention to her shock, I snapped her neck and watch her fall.
