Chapter 4 - The Warriors of Heaven

Heaven was the celestial realm of divine beings who gazed down upon Earth, a place of endless calm and splendor. Even so, threats existed that could shake its foundations. Against them, Heaven kept an elite guard: beings known as angels. These immortal celestial warriors stood at the front line, holding back any earthly threat that dared press against the borders of Heaven's domain.

One angel stood above nearly all the rest. His name was Sraptor. He had been appointed guardian to the goddess of wind, a post that won him the love and respect of many gods in the divine realm. Sraptor was no ordinary angel. His gifts were extraordinary, honed to a fine edge for war and combat, and they showed exactly how seriously he took his duty.

But the angels of Heaven were more than warriors. They were bound by strict divine law. Their one purpose was to defend Heaven, and no earthly desire or feeling was meant to move them. Fate, or destiny as some would call it, had other plans for Sraptor.

He broke one of Heaven's most sacred laws, the law that ruled the hearts and minds of its own. Sraptor had fallen deeply in love with the very goddess he was sworn to protect. That forbidden love became the ruin of him, a secret he could not stand to keep hidden. For it, he faced the harshest punishment Heaven could give: exile.

Cast down to Earth, he kept every one of the formidable powers and war honors that had once made him a model of celestial might. What he lost was the shelter of the divine realm he had called home. The gates were barred behind him for good. His wings were clipped, and he knew it.

Even in that despair, one thing still burned, a purpose larger than anything he wanted for himself. The goddess he had cherished had told him a secret: Heaven was going to fall. The disaster would shake the celestial realm to its core. She longed to stop it, but the same laws that had condemned Sraptor held her in place. So he made a solemn vow, and that vow would shape the course of his existence.

Sraptor set out on a new journey, driven by a stubborn determination to protect the realm that had exiled him. With his formidable powers and unyielding resolve, he would face trials that belonged to neither Heaven nor Earth. The love that had once led him astray now drove him forward: a quest to save the kingdom he had lost and to reclaim a destiny that fate had rewritten without asking. In this new chapter of his existence, Sraptor would become more than a guardian of the divine. He would become a warrior with the power to change the course of celestial history.
