Larsen whispered another incantation to his sword, and the blade responded with a pulse, then flared violently. The red Mana that once wrapped around it was now dwarfed by the surge of intense and searing violet Mana like it was drawing from a another source beside his own body.
Rama's eyes narrowed at the sight. That shade of violet looks the same as the Mana that had flooded the mausoleum and the Supernaturals in it.
"So it's true," he thought. "He's connected to this place somehow… deeper than he's ever told us."
It explained everything about why Larsen had insisted on coming here personally while he was a guild master. Why he pushed to go deeper while offered to paying them a million dollalrs.
"But if he had this much power… then why not come alone with his guild and insist on taking us?" Rama thougth. "There's something he's not telling us."
