Zoya had composed her own slowed down version of 'We belong together' by Mariah Carey for Demyan to walk down the aisle with. Even though we could not fully have it as our first dance, I thought it would be a lot better than the boring traditional 'Here comes the bride' and we were both grooms so I thought it was stupid as well.
The notes of the song floated so delicately throughout the air that it danced around us and bounced off the trees so beautifully that there were already a few wet eyes in the crowd.
I held my right wrist in front of me to keep my hands from shaking as eventually little Lia and Belli holding woven baskets with white rose petals appeared. Everyone cooed immediately as a bright smile stretched across my lips. Lia being a little bit older understood the assignment decently well as she threw rose petals on the ground with a cute blush. Belli with a bright smile, threw rose petals up and at family members she recognised.
