"Malia," I grabbed her wrists as she continued to push my chest. I was afraid she would hurt herself by how hysterical she had become and I knew the best thing to do was try to calm her down. "You don't if you did you would have never put me in this position," she pointed to her stomach, "You could have made the better choice for both of us but you didn't you were just so hell bent on getting over Ethan you used me as your scapegoat."
Her words rocked me more than her shoves as I almost fell back by the sheer force of them. I knew she was upset and hurt but was that what she really thought of me. Of us. That I had just used her to get over Ethan. Yes, Malia did bring me serenity from the hell I had been putting myself through for five years but I was not that heartless to use someone.
