"I'm not joking, Ibara. You have to..."
A rush of air cut Naruto off. He looked behind him and found the dark figure of the armored villain dangerously close. A bead of sweat ran down his forehead. The shinobi spun and tried to stab her, but the knife shattered against her armor.
"Hey! That one was my favorite!"
XXV ignored Himiko's complaint. She moved faster than anyone could follow, striking Naruto with a combination of blows that he was in no condition to defend against.
"Naruto!"
Ibara tried to help him, but a wall of blue fire forced her back. She looked over her shoulder and saw Dabi smiling as he shook his head.
"I should have killed her... When will I learn?"
XXV's fists battered Naruto without mercy. A powerful right hook sent him crashing into a tree. He struggled to remain standing and tried to react, but a knee to his stomach drove the air from his lungs and dropped him to the ground.
"..." Without the slightest change in her expression, All For One's faithful servant grabbed the shinobi by the hair and repeatedly slammed his head into the earth. His nose broke, and a wound opened across his forehead, covering his face in blood. Still unsatisfied, the armored woman lifted the teenager above her head and released him.
"Ahhhhhh!"Naruto screamed and rolled across the ground as XXV's knee broke his back. Panting in agony, he tried to rise, but she stomped on his head again and again. The crater beneath him grew with every blow.
"Stop!"Ibara forced her way through the flames and ran toward the woman attacking her friend. Several Twice clones caught her and held her tightly to keep her from interfering.
"Please, stop! You're killing him!"
"..." XXV stared coldly at the crying girl. She lifted her foot, bent down, and picked up Naruto's dazed and battered body.
"There is no place for mercy..."
The masked woman drew a metal spike from her suit and drove it through both of the shinobi's hands, leaving him hanging from a tree.
"..." Naruto did not even groan. He simply hung there, motionless against the trunk.
"Wh-what did you do?" The sight of Uzumaki in that condition made Ibara's stomach drop. "What did you do to him, you monster?!"
Her rage broke free. Her hair brutally pierced the clones restraining her and tore them apart. Blinded by fury, Ibara charged at XXV, only to fall when a devastating punch struck her face. Blood ran from her split lip. She tried to stand but could only scream when the armored woman lifted her by the hair.
"I'm only carrying out my mission." Without remorse, XXV held the girl aloft as she cried out in pain. With her free hand, the masked woman produced another metal spike and lightly pricked the teenager's back, silencing her screams.
"Now sleep..."
She pressed something on the weapon, and several drops of blood ran from Ibara's back. The girl trembled at the thought that she might be stabbed or even killed.
However, the masked woman never finished. Something fell from above and crushed her into the ground. The unexpected impact sent a fierce gust through the clearing, nearly blowing the other villains away. Then a massive figure emerged from the cloud of dust.
"Don't worry... because I am here!"
The dust scattered, revealing an imposing All Might. His arrival filled the villains with fear and made them retreat. The Symbol of Peace looked beneath his feet, picked up XXV's limp body, and threw her at Dabi. He then carefully lifted the unconscious green-haired girl into his arms.
"..." Dabi frowned and swallowed hard beneath the number-one hero's dark stare. "Hey... this isn't the time to lie down."
He kicked the armored woman's body. XXV stirred, rose, brushed the dust from her armor, and faced the newcomer.
All Might looked grimly at the young shinobi's condition. He pulled the metal spike from Naruto's hands and gently lowered him to the ground against a tree.
"Young Uzumaki, forgive my delay."
The blond giant carefully placed Ibara beside him.
"..." Naruto gave his friend a tired look. "You saved her... Thank you."
He watched the Pro Hero rise to his full height.
"..." All Might returned his gaze with regret. Then he stood and faced the remaining villains, his attention fixed on the woman in dark armor.
"How did you find us?" Dabi demanded.
"Sensei!"
The answer came with Izuku's arrival. Shiori and Momo followed him into the clearing, and the three teenagers hurried to surround the injured ninja.
"Sensei! Are you all right?"
"Never better..." Naruto replied sarcastically, closing his eyes as he rested against the tree. It had been a very long night.
"We have to get you out of here." Izuku looked at Momo. She nodded and moved to help Naruto stand, but he stopped them.
"Get Ibara out of here..."
"We know. Todoroki-san will carry her, but let us help you first." At that moment, Izuku regretted being unable to use his arms. He could have carried his sensei while the two girls took the Class B student.
"Just take her away. Now." Naruto's empty expression made the boy uneasy.
"But what about you?" Momo had a terrible feeling when she saw the look in the shinobi's eyes.
"I... can't go with you."
"But..."
Before Deku could ask what he meant, a fist struck him in the face and knocked him down. Himiko Toga appeared among the teenagers. After flooring the green-haired boy, she caught Shiori off guard with a kick and sent her down as well.
"He's mine!"
Smiling, the blonde pulled a knife from her sweater and slashed at Momo. The girl created a shield in time to protect herself, but Toga swept her legs out from under her.
"Hmmmm~ Hmmmm~"
Humming happily, Toga sat in the lap of a motionless Naruto and stared into his eyes.
"You look so good~"
With a disturbing smile, she ran her fingers through the blood covering his cheeks, enjoying the warmth of the crimson liquid.
"You're insane, aren't you?" Naruto asked flatly. He could no longer move. His body had reached its limit.
"You have no idea."
The little blonde smiled and brought her face dangerously close, almost brushing her lips against those of her beloved. Someone grabbed her by the hair and tore her away, throwing her roughly to the ground.
"Hey! That wasn't nice!" Toga shrieked, furious that her special moment had been interrupted.
"Stay away from him!" Momo stood protectively between Naruto and the villain. Toga rose and glared murderously at the black-haired girl.
"..." Izuku pushed himself painfully off the ground and saw the class president fighting the small villain hand to hand. Then he heard footsteps and watched a pair of boots stop in front of him.
"This is becoming far more troublesome than it should be..."
Blue fire gathered dangerously around Dabi as he aimed his right hand at Deku. The boy froze with the flames only a few centimeters from his face.
"And it becomes more annoying by the second..."
Dabi tilted his head and saw a grim Shiori standing behind him.
"Nice jacket," he mocked, eyeing the pink sweatshirt decorated with a unicorn.
Todoroki answered with a burst of fire, and Dabi countered with flames of his own. While the teenagers fought their separate battles, a far greater fight was beginning nearby.
