"Ali..."
A gentle female voice suddenly cut in, yet it blended harmoniously into the tense atmosphere, easing the situation. She quickly walked over and bent down, but did not pick up the child as one might expect. Instead, she smiled at her.
"What's the matter? Do you want Mother to hold you, or would you rather stand up yourself?"
"I..." She reached out, perhaps wanting to be held, but the woman laughed and said, "If Ali stands up by herself, that would be wonderful."
"I, I can do it!"
She immediately struggled to stand up, patting the dust and leaves off herself.
The woman smiled, reached out to touch her head, and then took her daughter's hand, leading her to me.
"Apologize to Elder Sister A Ran, you suddenly dashed over just now and scared your elder sister."
"You can't do that in the future."
She was very well-behaved and obedient, apologizing with a semblance of sincerity, yet not feeling sad, instead she was happy.
