"Fennie, calm down. Saying these things now doesn't help, does it?" Thomas Shannon cupped her cheek with one hand, soothing her softly, trying to persuade her with emotion and reason.
However, Sophie Sullivan wasn't buying it.
She snorted coldly, "It may not help, but it makes me feel better, can't it?"
She gave William Guillen a sharp glare, "Can't I say a few words to the culprit?"
"Fennie, listen to me." Thomas Shannon cupped her face with both hands, forcing her to turn her head to look at him.
Sophie's red lips were puckered by his hands, and she snorted, her face cold, "I won't listen!"
She said, her eyes glancing elsewhere.
"Fennie, look at me!"
Sophie abruptly closed her eyes, "I won't look!"
Thomas Shannon: "..."
Really at a loss for what to do with her.
"Fine, you won't listen or look, but I still have to say what I need to say."
