She frowned and didn't plan to answer.
But the mobile phone kept ringing nonstop, very much like someone determined not to give up until they got what they wanted.
She took out the mobile phone, glanced at it, and sure enough, it was him.
Sophie Sullivan picked up the telephone, clamped the phone between her ears and shoulder, and pulled out a few pieces of facial tissue to wipe her hand clean.
"Something up?"
On the other end of the telephone, Thomas Shannon's brow furrowed hard. Something up?
Couldn't he call her if nothing was up?
Thomas Shannon let out an unhappy cold snort. "Sophie Sullivan, can't I look for you if nothing's up?"
"At least not now. I'm busy. If it's nothing urgent, I'm hanging up."
Sophie Sullivan really was about to hang up, and Thomas Shannon growled, flustered and exasperated, "Wait!"
Sophie Sullivan let out an annoyed sigh. "Say it quickly, I'm very busy."
