Thomas Shannon turned his head, glanced at the television, and casually put the ceramic plate on the tea table, "Is the news from Country F that interesting?"
Sophie Sullivan pressed her corner of the mouth together, saying nothing.
"Stop watching it, even if you watch for one day, you won't see what you want to see."
Thomas Shannon reached out, lifted her chin, forcing her gaze to him, "How does your body feel?"
"If you stay away from me, maybe I'll feel a bit better."
Even though he had psychologically prepared himself from the beginning to hear unpleasant words from her mouth, hearing them still made him inevitably disappointed.
She was just so blunt, not even willing to act to deceive him?
