With a bitter smile, Edward Benson could only obediently remove his hand, and Linda was the first to get into the car.
On the way back to the villa, Edward said nothing.
Linda didn't know what he and Thomas Shannon had talked about upstairs, but vaguely, she had the intuition that their discussion involved her.
Returning to the villa, Edward turned off the engine.
He didn't hurry to get out of the car; instead, he gripped the steering wheel tightly and pressed the corner of his mouth together, "Isla."
"I told you I'm not Isla, call me Linda," Linda said impatiently, unbuckling the seatbelt, ready to push open the door and get out.
Her wrist suddenly tightened as Edward grabbed it, and Linda turned her head to stare at him, "What do you want?"
"I don't care what your relationship with Lillian Spencer is, or what she did to you, but why do you obey her..."
