Mila rested her chin on one hand, her meticulously made-up eyes glinting with charm as she looked at him, awaiting his reply.
William Guillen put down his knife and fork and elegantly wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin. "Okay."
Mila's smile froze. "Young Master Guillen, what did you say?"
William Guillen glanced at her. "Didn't you say you wanted to go over and greet her? Why haven't you gone yet?"
And just like that, Mila had dug her own grave and jumped right in, thoroughly outmaneuvering herself.
Though deeply unwilling, Mila managed to feign magnanimity.
She hooked her arm through William Guillen's, and they walked over to Fluffy Zane's table.
"Really? Is it as interesting as you say?"
Fluffy Zane's eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at Jim Jones, a soft yet dazzling smile on her lips.
