Eager to have her face healed, Sophie Sullivan had already quickly agreed, "No problem! Let's have the surgery tomorrow!"
Her excitement was evident.
Unconsciously, she grabbed Thomas Shannon's arm with one hand. She craned her neck slightly, her eyes, bright as stars, filled with anticipation as she looked at George Stanford.
It seemed the damage to half of her face was truly driving her mad.
That's why she was so excited, so desperate to have her face healed.
George Stanford said quietly, "Fiona, I was asking Young Master Shannon, not you."
The implication was that her words didn't count, and only Young Master Shannon's decision mattered. Sophie was in such a great mood that she didn't even get angry when Old Mr. Standford called her Fiona. She turned her head to look at Thomas Shannon.
Her petal-like lips, beautiful in color, curved up at the corners in an alluring arc. "Thomas, do you have any objections?"
