Sophie Sullivan's mind was blank. All her memories of the past were gone.
She didn't know if she had a loved one; currently, she did not.
Fluffy Zane smiled bitterly, her eyes glistening with tears. "When you truly have someone you love, you'll find that love is uncontrollable. Take me, for example. I know William Guillen isn't a good person, yet I just can't bring myself to give him up. Even though I know that in others' eyes, I'm pathetic... but I can't help it. I truly love him."
Sophie didn't understand. "Even if he keeps hurting you?"
"I also hope that one day, he'll hurt me so much that I'll no longer feel sad, no longer grieve for him. I think that day will be the day I completely lose heart."
Sophie smiled faintly. "I hope that day isn't too far away."
"I hope so."
On the way back to the manor, Sophie was unusually silent.
