I stepped outside, the sun beating on my face and the fresh, calming scents of the lotuses.
Mr Liao Biao went to the back of the cottage, and there was a slim alley leading somewhere, shrouded by trees.
The little boy grinned, beckoning with his hand.
"Follow me, children!"
As we followed him down the narrow path, the vegetation in this area seemed neglected and overgrown.
I held Luo Luo's hand tightly, and I could barely see ahead of me as her looming figure covered most of what was left to see.
Finally, after a few minutes, we came to a separate area where the path widened.
The grass was a vibrant shade of spring green, and colourful flowers blossomed from all around.
"I have something special to show you all," Mr. Liao Biao said with excitement in his voice.
His arm stretched toward a large wooden shed draped with curtains of overgrown moss and webs forming its exterior. It didn't look very convincing to many students.
