The long-awaited wedding day had finally arrived.
Jinny's brothers stood at the foot of the grand staircase, all except Ran, who had yet to arrive. Their eyes were fixed on her as she gracefully descended the stairs.
For a moment, no one spoke.
She looked breathtaking in her elegant white wedding gown.
"Our sister is so beautiful," Kasey said in admiration.
"Of course she is," Harusheen replied proudly. "She's our sister."
Tohru simply rolled his eyes. He still couldn't fully accept how his brothers had completely embraced Jinny, treating her like the precious princess of the family.
"Sweetheart... you look absolutely beautiful!" Kaye exclaimed as she wrapped Jinny in a warm embrace.
"Thank you, Mom," Jinny replied with a smile.
"Congratulations," Tristan said warmly.
"Thank you, Uncle."
"We'll see you at the church," Isaac added.
Jinny nodded.
One by one, the family headed outside and got into their respective cars.
Jinny walked toward the bridal car waiting in front of the mansion. As soon as she settled into the back seat, she took a deep breath to calm her racing heart.
The driver closed the door, and the car slowly pulled away.
Everything was going smoothly...
Until the car suddenly came to an abrupt stop.
Jinny frowned and looked at the driver.
"Why did we stop?" she asked.
"Ma'am... there's a car blocking the road," the driver answered nervously.
Her heartbeat instantly quickened.
She turned toward the window to see what was happening.
A sleek black car was parked across the road.
The driver's door opened.
A man stepped out.
Jinny's eyes widened in disbelief.
"R-Ran...?"
She covered her mouth in shock.
Ran strode toward the bridal car without hesitation. Reaching the door, he yanked it open.
"Come with me," he said urgently.
"W-What do you think you're doing?" Jinny exclaimed. "It's my wedding day!"
"Sir—" the driver began.
Before he could continue, Ran drew a gun and pointed it directly at him.
The driver's face instantly turned pale. He lowered his head, too terrified to move.
"Ran, you're scaring him!" Jinny cried.
Ignoring her words, Ran gently took her hand.
"Jin..." His voice softened. "You know how much I love you. I'm only doing this because I want to be with you."
"But Ran, this is wrong," Jinny pleaded. "I'm getting married... to your brother."
"I don't care!"
His voice echoed through the silent road before he took a slow, shaky breath.
When he spoke again, his tone became gentle.
"I'll do whatever it takes to steal you away from him."
Before Jinny could react, Ran suddenly lifted her onto his shoulder.
"Ran! Put me down!" she protested, struggling against him.
But Ran ignored her desperate pleas.
Holding her securely, he hurried back to the black car and gently placed her inside.
A second later, the doors slammed shut.
The tires screeched against the pavement.
The black car sped away, leaving the abandoned bridal car—and the wedding that was supposed to begin—in stunned silence.

Matias clenched his fists as he listened to the person on the other end of the phone.
The atmosphere inside the church instantly turned heavy.
Every member of the family stood frozen in shock after hearing the devastating news.
Ran had abducted Jinny while they were on their way to the church.
The brothers repeatedly tried calling Ran, but his phone had already been switched off.
Their fathers were also on their phones, urgently giving orders to their men.
"Seal every road leading out of the city!"
"Find Ran and Jinny immediately!"
The entire church fell into chaos.
In one corner, Kaye covered her mouth as tears streamed down her face. She could only pray that Jinny and Ran were both safe and will return.
Matias lowered his phone, his jaw tightening with determination.
He glanced at Maikell.
"Let's find them," he said firmly.
Maikell nodded without hesitation before turning to Izak.
The three exchanged determined looks.
Without wasting another second, they rushed out of the church, determined to find Ran and bring Jinny back before it was too late.

"Ran, where are you taking me?" Jinny shouted from the back seat. "We're not even in J City anymore!"
Ran kept his eyes on the road, his grip tightening around the steering wheel. His expression remained cold and determined.
"Ran, talk to me!" she cried. "Please don't ignore me!"
He let out a weary sigh.
"We're going to get married once we get there."
"What?" Jinny's eyes widened in disbelief. "You can't do that! I'm marrying Matias!"
"Jin, why can't you understand?" Ran said through clenched teeth. "I love you."
She shook her head.
"No, Ran. You don't love me—you just want to possess me. That's obsession, not love."
Her words pierced his heart, but he remained silent.
Outside, dark clouds swallowed the sky. Thunder rumbled overhead, followed by flashes of lightning. Moments later, heavy rain poured down, reducing their visibility.
"Ran, stop the car!" Jinny pleaded desperately. "Take me back to Mom. I'm sure everyone will understand. They won't hate you if you turn back now."
"No, Jin." Ran's voice was firm. "There's no turning back. I won't let Matias take you away from me again."
"Why won't you listen to me?" Tears streamed down her cheeks. "This is all your fault anyway!"
Ran glanced at her through the rearview mirror while continuing to drive.
"If you had treated me better back then..." Jinny sobbed. "Maybe I would've never stopped loving you."
Ran froze.
"But what you did to me..." she continued, her voice trembling with pain. "I can never forgive it."
"You cheated on me."
"You lied to me."
"You betrayed my trust."
"You said you loved me, yet you kept me hidden from everyone..."
Her voice broke.
"And you even slept with another woman."
Ran's heart ached with every word.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered. "I never meant to hurt you."
He tightened his grip on the steering wheel.
"I was afraid. I was a coward," his voice trembled with regret. "But let me fix everything. Just give me one more chance. We can start over."
Jinny slowly wiped away her tears.
"It's too late, Ran," she looked at him with eyes filled with sadness. "I love Matias..."
A faint smile appeared on her lips despite the tears.
"I only love him."
Those words shattered the last hope inside Ran.
Suddenly, Jinny lunged forward and grabbed the steering wheel.
"Jin! What are you doing?" Ran shouted. "Let go!"
The car swerved violently from side to side.
Neither of them noticed the massive truck speeding toward them through the curtain of rain.
When Ran finally saw it, his eyes widened.
"Damn it!"
He jerked the steering wheel at the last second.
The tires screeched against the wet pavement.
The car narrowly avoided the truck—
—but slammed head-on into another vehicle.
BOOM!
The impact sent the car spinning uncontrollably before it flipped several times across the road.
Everything went silent.

Ran slowly regained consciousness.
His vision was blurry, and blood trickled down the side of his face.
Ignoring the pain, he forced himself to look into the back seat.
His heart stopped.
"N-No..."
Jinny was slumped against the seat, unconscious.
Blood streamed from a wound on her forehead.
"J-Jin!"
Panic consumed him.
Despite the pain coursing through his body, Ran kicked the driver's door over and over until it finally burst open.
He stumbled out of the wreckage and rushed to the back door.
It wouldn't open.
"Come on...!"
In desperation, he smashed the window with his elbow.
Glass shattered everywhere.
Ignoring the cuts on his hands, he reached inside, unlocked the door, and carefully pulled Jinny from the mangled car.
Just seconds after laying her safely on the ground—
BOOM!
The wrecked car exploded behind them.
Flames shot into the sky.
Ran shielded Jinny with his own body before gathering her into his arms.
He gently rested her on his lap, his trembling hands cupping her face.
"Jin..."
He shook her lightly.
"Jin, wake up..."
His voice cracked.
"Please... wake up..."
But she remained unconscious.
In the distance, the wail of sirens grew louder.
Within moments, police cars and ambulances arrived at the scene, their flashing lights illuminating the rain-soaked highway.
