As the leader of the group, the Shadow Immortal walked towards the guard. "I am the Shadow Immortal. An elder of the Myriad Sword Sect." This was all he said before standing there as though waiting for the young woman to get out of his way.
The young woman was called Lín Shuǐyè. She was a core disciple of the Genesis Earth Immortal Sect. She was at the peak of the Brahma Realm, but she was not a genius by any measure, at least not in a grand sect like the Genesis Earth Immortal Sect, which had yet to fall from grace. She had heard of the Shadow Immortal and his achievements and was very impressed by him, but this was not enough for her to be scared of him. He had only just stepped into the Brahma Realm and was still in the first order of this realm. There was a very large gap in power between the first and the final sixth order in any realm. Lín Shuǐyè believed that she had more than enough power to kill the Shadow Immortal should he prove to be problematic.
