"I will go back if the situation truly becomes dire," he thought, as he hammered a large piece of Ibale, a powerful metal that grew more formidable over time.
Ibale absorbed qi at a constant, unalterable pace. The more qi it absorbed, the stronger it became, though it could not be force-fed. Even someone as powerful as Kai Syaoran had failed to speed up its process in the past. In the end, he had to accept that some things were simply set in stone by the heavens. Ibale was a truly miraculous metal; the older it was, the more powerful it became. Some ancient pieces could withstand a full-powered blow from Kai Syaoran without a scratch.
