After bringing Sakura back to his place, he threw her in his dungeon and forgot about her. He did not want to be pulled into whatever she was doing. Even though there was a chance that someone out there knew she had come out to deal with him, he decided to take the risk. He set up a few leads that went outside the city in hopes that those who would inevitably come after her would be led astray.
This was his hope, but even if someone did find him, he had nothing to worry about. He was in a place where the Warlord was only in the Deva Realm, and he didn't need to hide his power. He could live freely, and if the Warlord was unlucky enough to come after him, it would be very easy to wipe him out. This would, of course, attract more trouble, but he was still willing to do it.
