Kai Syaoran walked on the streets with ease. No one asked him anything, and the streets were wide enough for him to move unhindered. He was walking past a dark alley when he saw a group of men who had surrounded a young woman. These men had tattoos all over their bodies and wore flamboyant clothes. He looked at these clothes and then at his own. He decided that their clothes would help him fit in better. He looked around and, when no one was looking, he entered the alley.
He had reduced his presence to the greatest possible level. The men, who were all preoccupied with the young woman, did not see him until the last moment.
