Zhao Zhitong looked at the calligraphy and then at the Teacher. She knew this one; the Teacher had told her before that it was Wang Xizhi's calligraphy. So, she said, "Teacher, this is Wang Xizhi's calligraphy."
The other little ones nodded in agreement.
The Teacher nodded. "That's right, this is Wang Xizhi's calligraphy."
Then, he patiently explained, "You see, Wang Xizhi was a master of calligraphy. He has already passed away, but he left behind many famous works of calligraphy. When we, the younger generations, see these works, we think of him and recognize him. Therefore, even though he long ago departed this world, he remains forever alive in his works, always accompanying us."
