[Just then, Aquaman leapt forward, swiftly closing the distance between himself and the towering figure of Steppenwolf. With a swift motion, he brought his trident crashing down upon the Steppenwolf!]
[In response, bolts of violent lightning erupted from Steppenwolf's battle axe as he twirled and slashed upwards!]
[The air crackled and shimmered with transparent ripples scattering in all directions. Aquaman felt his arms grow numb as he was forced to retreat.]
[It was clear that in a one-on-one confrontation, neither Aquaman nor Wonder Woman stood a chance against Steppenwolf, but they attacked simultaneously in the next moment!]
[A demigod and a sea king, together they bravely faced off against Steppenwolf!]
[Meanwhile, seizing the opportunity, Cyborg made his way to the mother box!]
[Without hesitation, he plunged his transformed hand into the mother box!]
