After waiting for a full hour, Yan Nanshan finally emerged from the main hall reserved for cultivation, his expression quite gloomy.
"Elder Yan, how are things?"
The dozen or so Steward Elders advanced to inquire.
"Everything's settled."
"But just in case, you all need to keep an eye on things."
"Anyone who dares to make trouble again will be expelled from the Holy Temple, never to be admitted again!" Yan Nanshan ordered.
"Yes!"
The Steward Elders obediently bowed in response.
Yan Nanshan gave the crowd in the square another glance and announced, "Disperse, everyone. There's nothing to see here."
The gathered Disciples dispersed haphazardly.
However, some didn't leave and gathered in small groups in the square, discussing in low tones.
Yan Nanshan didn't bother with them, transforming into a streak of light and flaring up into the sky, vanishing in a blink of an eye.
The dozen or so Steward Elders mostly left as well, leaving only two guarding both sides of the entrance.
