The Wolf King realized it had made a huge error and gave an embarrassed laugh. "I acted impulsively; I couldn't help it, sorry."
Qin Feiyang rolled his eyes at it, then tuned into the noise outside.
BOOM!
A massive sound echoed through the old castle. It must have been the Snow Python's colossal tail smacking the bottom of the lake.
Then, it fell silent outside.
"Seems like we didn't wake it," Qin Feiyang murmured. It made sense, really. For such a massive creature, the Wolf King's swipe was probably just a tickle.
"Don't do that again." After waiting a while, Qin Feiyang warned the Wolf King, and together they reappeared on the lake floor. A pitch-black ravine, clearly left by the Snow Python's massive tail, immediately came into their view.
Qin Feiyang glanced at the trench, his pupils narrowing slightly, then said in a low voice, "We'd better go up."
"Let's look some more." The Wolf King seemed somewhat unwilling.
