"Still cursing me?"
The Mansion Lord's face instantly darkened. "Pack your things. I'm taking you to the Inner Hall right away."
Ren Wushuang shook her head. "I won't go. What's so good about that spooky place?"
"You're a grown woman now. You can't stay by this old man's side forever, can you?"
"Today, you have to go, no matter what."
"That's the only reason I came."
The Mansion Lord said sternly.
"HUMPH!"
Ren Wushuang snorted coldly, turned her head away, and pouted, sulking.
The Mansion Lord felt a deep sense of helplessness.
Suddenly, his eyes brightened. He looked at Qin Feiyang and gave him a subtle glance.
Qin Feiyang looked a bit troubled and mouthed silently, Isn't this a bad idea?
The Mansion Lord shot him a threatening glare.
Qin Feiyang complained inwardly. This was a matter between grandfather and granddaughter; why did they have to drag him into it?
