Aaron Ray came back, his face not looking good.
Milton Bryce asked Ms. Goldsmith, "Did he mess up Master Howard's task?"
"No." Ms. Goldsmith shook her head, "Maybe he's just too tired."
Milton Bryce deeply agreed. Usually acting all high and mighty in front of him, but he's still just a young lad barely in his twenties. Working for Master Howard at such a young age, of course, the pressure would be high.
Milton Bryce put on the demeanor of an older brother, "Young people need to withstand hardships. Back in the day, I was so poor I could dig up others' graves, and he's just working overtime? How tired could he be? Too delicate!"
Ms. Goldsmith widened her eyes and asked, "Why would you dig up someone else's grave?"
"Cough, cough cough... let's not talk about that." Milton Bryce waved his hand awkwardly, "You should hurry off to bed, it's already so late, seriously..."
Ms. Goldsmith responded with an "Oh" and obediently went to her room to sleep.
