Cherry heard this and sneered.
She dared not trust anyone now.
But the latter half of Mr. Ghost Hayes's words were right; he indeed wasn't much of a threat, especially now, exhausted like a dead dog, trembling after just a few steps, how could he have the energy to catch her?
Cherry held the bell in her palm, placing it in front of Mr. Ghost Hayes, "You can look but not touch."
"Alright, alright, I won't touch it." Mr. Ghost Hayes put his hands behind his back, bent over, squinted, and spun in circles, examining the bell.
As he looked, he made clicking noises with his mouth.
Cherry asked him, "Did you find anything special about it?"
Mr. Ghost Hayes said earnestly, "This bell, it's not an ordinary bell."
Cherry: "Oh."
She pretended to take it back.
"Hey, hey, hey! I haven't finished speaking yet!" Mr. Ghost Hayes stopped her, "What I'm saying is, this bell isn't a complete bell; it should be one of a series of bells."
