Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
The blonde wiped his sweat, "Turns out it was this one, I almost thought all this effort was for nothing."
Clyde Summers picked the cat out of Big Head's arms. It was quite thin, but just by judging its weight, he knew it wasn't. In terms of appearance, he couldn't really tell the difference.
All the white cats in the world looked the same to him.
"Where did you find it?" Clyde Summers asked.
"Grandma Lewis's backyard," Big Head replied.
The blonde asked Big Head, "You didn't bring one of Grandma Lewis's cats here, did you?"
"How would I know? There are a dozen cats in that backyard, who can tell which ones she keeps?"
Clyde Summers furrowed his brows and said lightly, "Let's go with this one."
It's better than a dead cat, at least it wouldn't make her cry uncontrollably, which made him feel uncomfortable.
